During university, I served as the Art Assistant/Set Decorator on three different film projects. The first of these projects is titled Ghosted, a short silent film. Ghosted was filmed in my student room. During post production I was the co-editor.

My dissertation was a short documentary about Black women and body image. I collaborated with other students from my university that are starring in the documentary. I was the sole director and editor We used my student home as the main set. I thought my room in particular would be an interesting back drop for the interviews.

A short film concept about two people in love. who are trying to balance their relationship and their careers. My characters will loosely be based on a lot of people. Including myself as the cook and chefs who have inspired me during my culinary career.
Camera angles i want Long shots to establish the characters location and to represent emotions like loneliness, yearning and regret. Medium closeup shots to show intimacy and love between characters. Also the perspective of how other characters see each other.
Setting wise i choose The shard during my culinary career I aspired to one day work there. It also represents both London and professional cooking to me . These are both things I feel is important for film. I want the film to be set in London in a professional restaurant. Then other the scenes such as intimate ones in other areas in London. Overall it would be a great location to show themes such as love, passion, pressure and perfectionism.
